Year in School: Sophomore
Major: Bioelectrical Engineering
Favorite Spot on Campus: E-Hall
I am from a town about 10 miles south of Green Bay, Wisconsin called West De Pere. Being from Green Bay, I am a strong Packers fan and I am a shareholder of the team. During high school I played soccer and tennis as well as being involved within ski club, student council, and math club. I am currently a freshman and I am pursing a degree in bioelectrical engineering. With this degree I may go to medical school, however, I am not sure about this commitment and will see how I feel about it four years from now. If I decide that I don’t want to go to medical school, I still plan on working within hospitals with my degree. Another interest of mine is in the stock market, so I may pick up a minor in finance. In my free time I like to play ultimate Frisbee, futsal, card games (especially euchre and hearts), and hang out with friends. A couple of my favorite things would be: my favorite food, shrimp; my favorite TV show, Psych; my favorite club soccer team, BVB Dortmund; and my favorite tennis player, Novak Djokovic. Lastly, I believe SigEp will greatly impact me in a positive way over the next few years. One thing that I find great about SigEp is all of the opportunities that I will be able to receive by being a member. A good example of this can be seen in my profile picture, where I was able to meet and talk with President Lovell for around 30 minutes. Had I not been a member I would not have had this experience. Another quality that I find rewarding of this chapter, is its ability to give back. Being in the city of Milwaukee, there is definitely multiple opportunities to get involved around campus, and I feel like this chapter does its best to do so. Getting more involved in giving back to the community is something I didn’t pursue much in high school, but is one major thing I want to change in my years at college, and I know that this fraternity will let me do that.
