Hello! My name is Brian Stumph, and I’m a Senior in Electrical Engineering here at Marquette. I joined SigEp my fall semester of my freshman year, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. So far I’ve served on our chapter’s executive boards two consecutive years as Vice President of Programming, and I am now currently serving as our chapter’s President. SigEp has helped me endlessly in my professionalism, networking, time-management, and overall social aspects of my life, and now I believe it’s my turn to give back. When I’m not running from meeting to meeting, I can usually be found in Marquette’s Engineering Hall working on some electrical engineering homework (or “learning how to change a lightbulb” as my roommates like to call it). When I’m not stressing about piles of homework, I’m a huge fan of sitting back and watching television shows or movies. I’m a huge movie nerd and I always have a constant check list of movies I need to check out when (or if) I’m ever free. If I ever do find more free time in my schedule, I’d also always like to be more involved in Theatre and plays. I was definitely one of those theatre kids growing up and I acted for 5 years before coming to Marquette and even participated in a few Marquette plays. My current favorite musical (which I have been listening to on repeat ever since January this year) would definitely be Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
